Agree with Funtwosum - Bread in Common is a great place to leave the Cappucino Strip behind. Apart from the coffee and their amazing bread, it is also a great place to go if your date insists on drinking out of 'recycled' jars and is proficient in the use of words such as Kale, Quinoa and Chia.

Is for Salt at Port Beach... not necessarily for the quality of the coffee, but because on a week day morning you can kick back on a couch with your coffee and relax with the paper after having been for a run/swim beforehand. Sheer bliss :) Much love, Elle xx

Is X-ray still open? Used to love it there when we lived in Freo. Gino's coffee is pretty ordinary compared to others. Here in Bali I recommend our place for great coffee.
