  Picked me up late at night from the airport, took me to my accommodation. Went out for drinks until the early hours of the morning. Engaged in meaningful chat, explained some local areas to avoid and did some local sightseeing in the morning. But nicest of all excepted that we weren’t right for each other without making a massive fuss.

  Alright I better answer it seriously. I’ve met people on here who have gone out of their way in a huge way....2 in particular. One used to pick me up from a truckstop, wash my clothes, feed me and give me a decent bed to sleep in... 1 gave me food and some money without request for repayment(despite my attempts to give it back) when I had nothing...... These are 2 people out of many that have given me something to take with me in this life....not necessarily something tangible.

  A couple contacted us from RhP . We had discussed attending a party / event many many many many many times . I was hesitant and the thought of it made my confidence level plummet . The pressure to be a ‘super model ‘ , the pressure to play and fear of the unknown . This particular couple were starting up their own events and luckily it was located very close to home . We spoke on the phone 3 times prior the event . They were both ( husband and wife ) patient , informative, friendly and reassuring that we would be absolutely fine . They introduced us to people at the party , made us feel included ( I’m speaking about conversation) and amidst all the first times nerves we had an enlightening, fun night . We are grateful for their patience , their being understanding of our nerves ( from what to expect , what to wear , the no pressure to play environment etc etc ) . They bestowed on a us a wonderful gift . Ax

  I'm intrigued by the low number of responses from single men. I wonder if single guys haven't recieved much "nice" things because not many have done so or is it because most single guys are not looking for "nice" things? If the question was put to single girls, what's the nicest things guys have done for you, I wonder if the response rate will be higher ?

  The nicest thing my Ex did for me is carry my my handsome littlenman for 9months gave birth went through physical and mental changes now that is the nicest thing that I have recieved from anyone besides my own mother doing the same thing 😄

  Okay so can I tell you a nice thing I did for a guy once? I will anyway LOL He was an elite athlete, saw him regularly, and the work hard/play hard definitely applied to him. After a big celibratory night, he rang with a massive hangover. I asked if he'd like me to come and kiss it better 😉 with the assurance he would need to do nothing. And so I did. He was a very happy camper that day. Okay it was sexual but a bunch of flowers just wouldn't have cut it
