Well for whats it's worth, I love the older women. They know what they want and there is no bull. It's just easier as they are more confident in who they are. No one to impress. Been here done that...lets do it again :D I've been married and my ex-wife was 8 years older than me...so bring it on

I absolutely believe it depends on the type of relationship. On RHP I tend to go for the slightly younger guys. Guys I wouldnt have a hope in hell of picking up if I were in a bar but seem to have success with on here. For a relationship I would look for someone older, more settled and understanding to my situation. My attraction to younger guys is only recent though, probably the last 6 months. Throughout my teens and early 20's I was always attracted to much older guys (min 10 yrs older), but fell into a 9yr relationship with someone the same. I hit 30 and started noticing 25 - 30 yr olds. Now I cant get enough of them lol

If its younger than my kids it would be a bit odd for me. I think younger guys are smart in their sexuality and what they want, they are like heat seeking missiles at times. Besides if the brain goes with the body then the age does not matter at all. My god they are also the most lovely things to look at :). Many of my girlfriends have partners younger than them, one is 25 years younger they have been married for around 8 years and he still cant get enough of her. The other her partner is 15 years and ten years together, both men are middle eastern men so perhaps there is a cultural perception as well. I was married for 18 years to a guy 8 years younger than me, and we still get on great. In Europe and the Middle east mature women are desired . In the west where all the magazines say skinny , young, plastic breasts is a turn on then I guess it laws of attraction may be differnt , though I know plenty of younger men on this site love older women and good on em :) Each situation needs to just play out, if the attraction is there then go for it. I would like to hear a mans view on this, and how much older would a woman be before they would say no thanks.

Some can also be more interesting in their requests in and out of the bedroom but that's not to say the guys my age or above fall short in any category.......there have been a few exceptions.In my opinion age could matter if you are looking for a serious relationship and a younger guy may not be interested in the same life choices or interests you are but in the end its all personal choice.They are all gorgeous creatures and should be enjoyed for their individuality.

I'm used to it, i married younger (hubby has just hit 34 the other week) and i have dated younger. Older does not mean better in any way shape or form as some older guys believe so why not while i still can. I do have my limits though, i used to go into the early 20's but that has worn off. 30 and up is perfect. Early 20's is someone i just want to pat on the back and burp. I think it works both ways though, guys love younger women so why not women loving younger men? When they are just as good if not better lovers? If you can get away with it why not?

TuscanRed is partly perhaps mainly right. Age does not matter Fundamentally younger men but over 18 is healthy for the older discerning woman. Odd need not be wrong. Her analogy (regarding the younger mans attitude to older woman) heat seeking missiles is so right. If I was married to TuscanRed and although I am soon to be nearly 27 - I would love to hunt her, seek her, catch her WOW yay. But not just once, rather daily in all the right and wrong ways. And yes I agree every situation pans out differently. There has to be excitement, romance, respect, knowledge and of course chemistry. What is too old: For myself at near 27 then a new partner over say 77 would be a no thanks. But that is a new partner. HOWEVER as we age as a society then that is not fixed. I suggest its a combination of romance, libido, fitness and bonding (Oxytocin). Personally i feel it needs to be a thoroughly pleasurable and emotional positive set of experiences. If it was an existing partner then I would suggest that there are no limits on upper age. In all honesty I have a strong inner desire to hunt the older woman. I am fairly unadventurous in sexual terms. Maily good fun 1 on 1 sex. Also there is no attempt at procreation. Perhaps nature favours young females but that is not the drive for me. My buzz, drive is best manifest in giving pleasure and recognition of respect and other facets. Making, seeing, feeling, sensing, hearing her have various and many orgasms is such a pleasure. I only just asked the same question myself after a young woman 24 had been in contact with me. I made assumptions about the age subject and found myself pleasently surprised just how enjoyable this person is to talk with, laugh with. Did not expect that. Nothing physical, just chatting. I would not have thought there would be enough to talk about with such a difference. I guess some of it comes down to life expirience. Previously from age 16 I had always dated older women. Well when I was 16 she was 17, but still older. Whilst in my 20s met a woman 7 years older and 16 years, house children etc later, before we found out wants our interests had changed. Separated as friends and still have regular contact. The enjoyment together as friends never changed. That feeling of love did. That is not something that can be predicted, no matter what age. Just time changes all of us. Not a single regret. Only real issue was whilst still in my 20s, my friends found it hard to come to terms with. Everyone else just made the usual toy boy jokes and good on you comments to her. Based on my recent contact with someone 17 years younger, well, I have to say there is no rule, don't make assumptions, go with gut feelings. I also have chatted with plenty of women in their 40s who grabbed the first young six pack guy they could find, after separating from long term marriage. Most did not have positive comments. That however is more to do with why the grabbed the young guy than anything to do with age. HOWEVER - I would like to point out us old blokes have learnt a few things over the years and old dogs can still teach young pups new tricks. (Had to put that in for the rest of the 40+ guys on this site, hard enough to compete)

I have known some extremely juvenile men in my own age group and some very mature men in a much younger age group. I cannot say that I am particularly attracted to younger men per se much preferring to spend my time with my own age group. I do find that I have more in common and can discuss things in a like manner. Having said that, I have met the exception to the rule as there is one in every case

I have to admit I love younger men. Sexually - men in their twenties are very well-matched to women in their 40's to 50's and beyond IF the guy is a good lover. I've been fighting the picking up guys in their 20's due to the belief system that its wrong its unethical to do so. I remind myself often that if its ok for a man why is it not ok for me. There is a 13 year age difference between myself and my partner. He has just turned 21 and I will be 34 in a couple of months. We've been together since he was 19. Neither of us had an idea of the others age when we met (he didnt look 19 and I didnt look 32) and when we finally discussed it, it was too late to matter. I suppose if he was 30 and I was 43 it wouldnt matter so much but many people seem to have rather intense issues with us when they discover the gap. It seems it matters to everyone else but us.

...can occur outside of what we may think is more the norm, but I would suggest that it is rare. One of the best relationships I have had in some time that came to a very healthy and enjoyable end was with a 30 year old woman. I am 28 and have regularly played with older, they seem to be more open and honest about what they want and not scared to experiment. For me it my thing started a bit illegally when I was 16 with a "Mrs Robinson". The biggest gap I have had was when I was 25 with a 54yo. I loved it and would happily play with a similar gap. The more experience we have gained the broader our age range has become. Although we probably couldn't go below 30 it's that paternal/maternal thing. I actually prefer younger men.. I was out of the dating game for 10 yrs, I just lost interest. I had a serious back injury that took years to recover. Well look at our ages and our profile and I'll tell you this...Men hit their peak in their late teens, early 20's yet females don't hit their peak till their 30's so look around this site and see how many woman are around the 35-45 bracket compared to other ages and how many guys are "young"...Now obviously being a biased audience I love the older woman because are foxy, know what they want and are the best lovers - personally I've found some younger girls haven't quite worked out what they want or like so it makes it harder if people don't know what they want, like or enjoy but thats just my two cents worth.

I'd have to say age is pretty irrelevant, I've had strong connections with up to mid 40s as well as from early 20s.
