New City, New Heat
April 03 2025
The air was warm, even though it was evening in Perth. You stood on the apartment balcony, glass of wine in hand, taking in the view of a city that still felt unfamiliar. You had come a long way — not just across continents, but across chapters of your life. From dusty roads back home to high-rises and quiet whispers in shared spaces.
You didn’t expect the night to turn the way it did.
Jade had invited you over. You’d met her at a housewarming last week — her smile was wild and easy, and she moved like someone who didn’t apologise for pleasure. She opened the door barefoot, music playing low behind her, a second woman standing in the kitchen pouring drinks.
“This is Liv,” Jade said, brushing your arm as you walked in. Liv turned, her green eyes catching yours, and there was a long pause in her gaze — curious, open.
The conversation flowed like good wine: travels, accents, music, the shared curiosity of strangers drawn to heat. Somewhere between the second bottle and Jade leaning into your side with that flirtatious ease, the tension in the room shifted. Playful glances became touches. Liv’s hand found your wrist as she laughed, her fingers staying there a moment longer than needed. Jade’s lips brushed your neck like an accident — only it wasn’t.
“You’re a beautiful man,” Jade whispered, her breath warm. “You know that, right?”
You swallowed. Your heart drummed against your ribs.
Then came the kiss — slow, exploratory — her lips soft against yours while Liv watched, her pupils widening like a tide coming in. Moments later, Liv joined, her lips brushing yours as Jade’s hands slid under your shirt, exploring the firmness of your chest, the heat of your skin.
Clothes fell away like autumn leaves. The couch became an altar of shared hunger, laughter, and moans. Fingers intertwined. Mouths discovered new languages in sighs and skin. They took their time with you, and you with them — no rush, no shame, only rhythm, only heat.
It wasn’t just the physical — it was the acceptance. The way they looked at you, touched you, desired you — not despite where you were from, but perhaps because of the stories your body carried. You didn’t feel like a stranger anymore.
When it was over, the three of you lay tangled, breathless, skin slick with sweat and smiles.
Jade turned to you. “You okay?”
You nodded, lips parting in a grin. “More than okay.”
Liv kissed your shoulder. “Good. Because we like you here.”
And for the first time in a long while, you didn’t just feel wanted — you felt home.
