  Living and flirting in the vanilla world and then going to Chatau Vino in this world definitely shows the difference. We have felt the groups and cliques at Chatau on occasion but they have a dance floor and at times have had great music and a really good “nightclub” atmosphere that transcends the cliques. We find finding a play partner at Chatau a lot less daunting than in the vanilla world as the people attending know what this world is. In the vanilla world, they don’t often get how this all works and the thought of trying to pick up in the wild now stresses me as the expectations in the vanilla world are so different to how our world actually is. Once you find a swingers club that suits you, you will be laughing. As with anything, find the best fit for you, don’t give up after the first club. We also enjoy our local swingers groups who hold parties. Whilst there may not be a dance floor at those, sometimes you can make it happen anyway. Keep trying to find your spot! Bri

  We know what you mean about the lack of atmosphere at swingers clubs. I guess they all try to set the scene but invariably hardly ever beat the vibe of a hot nightclub pulsing with sexy beats, a packed dance floor with bodies oh so close that you wished clothes would disappear and the fun continue. I feel lack of time is part of the issue, in Australia it seems most swinger clubs close around 1pm, which is when normal clubs just start to get hot. So the time frame of turning up at 8pm, getting over nerves, maybe chatting to a few people then 10pm everyone stripping off and going for it just seems too timetabled and not enough time to enjoy a good dose of socialising, dancing, voyeurism and action. Our best night out was in Berlin where we didn’t leave the club till the sun was coming up but we’re having so much fun we didn’t even realise the time. We savour things happening organically an for us this usually takes time unless planets align and you bump into people where you instantly know it’s on like donkey kong.

  Party events on this site + themed events (like Lucid in Sydney) may be a good thing to try. Its not a sex club and play is often not allowed, but you can have a good dance and connect with people from the lifestyle and take it from there. I love the events, you can dance half naked and take things hot on the dance floor which you're allowed in a normal night club
